An RDP wrapper alternative — built as a product
Some people search for “RDP wrappers” to unlock host behavior on Windows Home. Those approaches usually patch or reuse Microsoft components in ways that are fragile and often conflict with Windows terms.
SidianRDP is different: a commercial host that shares the console desktop over the Remote Desktop protocol, with a tray controller, machine-bound licensing, a 21-day trial, and documentation that doesn’t pretend internet access is magical.
- Signed Windows installer
- Familiar Remote Desktop clients
- Honest LAN / VPN networking guidance
- Paid perpetual use without forcing update renewals to keep hosting
