Remote Desktop on Windows 11 Home

Microsoft’s built-in Remote Desktop host is a Pro/Enterprise feature. On Windows 11 Home you can still run Remote Desktop clients, but you can’t turn the Home PC into a host with the stock feature.

SidianRDP fills that gap: install it on the Home PC, allow connections, and connect from another device with a normal Remote Desktop app. You see the console desktop that’s already on the screen. There is no SidianRDP cloud relay — networking is on a path you control (LAN or VPN).
